Privacy

• About you: your name, your email address and, for a student, the link to a parent's account.
• Your work: the answers you give, how long each one took, and your scores.
• Comments: what tutors and reviewers write about your work.
• Google or Microsoft sign-in: if you sign in with one of them, they share only your name and email address with us.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

• The student.
• The student's parent.
• The student's tutors.
• Reviewers, but only for the work that is sent to them.
• Ardent Prep administrators.

On Microsoft Azure, in the United States (the South Central US region).

• Sell your data.
• Show you ads.
• Use students' answers to train AI models.

A child under 13 can use Ardent Prep only through a parent’s account. Schools can sign a data agreement with us.

For a child a parent adds to their account, we collect:

• their name;
• the email address they sign in with;
• their practice and test work: the answers they give, how long each took, and their scores.

We collect these so the child can sign in, practise and take tests, and so their parent, and any tutor they work with, can see how they are doing.

We do not collect a child’s age or date of birth.

A parent can see their child’s tests, scores and activity on the child’s page in their own account. To have a child’s data deleted, write to privacy@ardentprep.com.

• Every connection to Ardent Prep is encrypted.
• Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, so nobody, including us, can read them.
• Only a few administrators have access, and only what they need.

Ask us to download your data or to delete it, and we will. Data you ask us to delete is deleted within 30 days.
